Being a life-long learner is certainly a plus in the real estate industry and today's conference surpassed my expectations.

Being a single mom is challenging enough, but being a single mom and in real estate can be ultra challenging. It's all about setting boundaries, working smarter, keeping a good schedule and being flexible. 

Today these women spoke to my soul as they shared their tips and secrets to successfully handling it all.

After the training, we enjoyed a happy hour and I was able to talk with each speaker, thank her, and get even more great tidbits of information to put into practice. 

I consider myself very fortunate in this business because I do not work alone, but instead be part of a team. Joining my brother Lew who has been in the business for 20 years and forming our partnership was the perfect solution. Now we work with all of our customers together. Life doesn't get any better than that. 

Thank you to all the ladies who inspired me today with your words of wisdom. I cannot wait to put some of your advice into action.
